Spring 2014
A small community co-operative was founded In Olathe, Kansas, with the aim of providing basic needs to families.
Fall 2014
A clothing boutique is added to the co-operative, allowing families to obtain free clothing once a month.
Spring 2015
The co-operative is renamed to Open Arms, giving an identity to the cause.
Fall 2015
Open Arms partners with Happy Bottoms, allowing eligible families to apply for a free diaper program.
2017
Harvesters community food bank becomes a partner and the food pantry is opened to the public.
2018
A wealth of new services are added, including a mobile food pantry and the BackSnack program.
2019
Open Arms is re-branded, remodeled, and merges with the Life-Enrichment Program to assist with local education.
2020
Open Arms merges with New Life Family Church food pantry and Lakewood Way Community Church food pantry.
